Understanding Traffic and the Marketing Funnel – Episode 003

Not everyone is interested in your farm products. Have you figured that out yet?

So when we have a special offer or product, how do we know who to show that offer to?

There are all kinds of potential customers swimming around “out there” in the big wide world. Think of all these people as “traffic.”

Are all of them as receptive to your offer as others? How do we find the perfect person so we can show them this offer? And if I knew where they were, wouldn’t I go there and find them?

Where are your ideal customers hanging out?

You may have a great product, but if you’re not putting it front of the right traffic, no one is going to buy it.

The act of putting your offer in front of the right people at the right time is what we’re talking about in this episode.

I talk through:

  • the many traffic “stores” that we have available to us
  • traffic temperatures
  • the analogy of relationships, and how it can help us understand the marketing journey
  • what a marketing funnel is
  • the primary purpose of “traffic” for our marketing
  • why you can’t rush people through the funnel
  • the many different “goals” you can have for your traffic

This concept of moving customers through a relationship process was a HUGE eye-opener for me. I hope this training will give you some a-ha moments too.
