111 The Power of the Weekly Special – Interview with Juliet Orezietti

June 9, 2021 by Corinna

Getting a new customer to buy for the first time is a critical step you must ace as a business. It’s the moment when the relationship changes from “observer” to “buyer.” During this moment, when a person first spends money with your brand, neuroscience shows that the customer experiences a psychological shift in their brain. If the experience is a positive one, it becomes much easier to say “yes” to future offers if they have overcome the hurdle of the first ask.

One of the best ways to encourage this key moment in the customer journey to happen is to build a great first offer. In today’s episode, my guest Juliet Orezietti shares her strategy of “the Weekly Special” and how she uses it to build her email list and turn fence-sitters into paying customers.

Who is Juliet Orezietti?

Juliet Orezietti is co-owner of LInc Farm in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. She and her husband Martin raise pastured sheep, beef, free-range pigs, cattle, and egg-laying chickens. They have been farming full-time for 7 years, and together have created a strong following in their community.

Some of the resources mentioned in this episode:

      • Find my Facebook group for farmers! I jump in here every month to teach farmers tips and fundamentals of marketing.
      • Do you ever wonder what has to happen in a customer before they are ready to buy? Turns out marketers know there are 6 key triggers (and Juliet is using some of them in her strategy!) Wouldn’t you like to know what they all are, so you can leverage them too? Take my free webinar: Why They Buy. It’s completely free, about an hour long, and will give you lots of ideas for how to re-design your offers to get people to buy.
