116 How to Fill Your CSA Pipeline with Victoria Rogowski of Laurel Glen Farm

July 14, 2021 by Corinna

What do you do when your CSA is “sold out?” Are people just “out of luck”? Shut down with no where to go? What if you could create an offer that would attract people into your CSA leads pipeline, who would convert to full time members the following year? In today’s episode, I interview Victoria Rogowski from Laurel Glen Farm, who has developed a new “Surplus Subscription” style membership that does just that.

We talk about how this membership is structured and messaged, and how it’s helping Victoria find new clients BEFORE she needs them.

WHO IS VICTORIA ROGOWSKI?

Victoria Rogowski and her husband Randy operate Laurel Glen Farm, a 20-acre mixed vegetable farm in Shelton, Connecticut, about an hour and a half outside of New York City. They revitalized Randy’s family’s former dairy farm in 2013, and this is their 9th season of running a CSA program. They also have a store on-site, which features additional products from other local food producers, and participate in 3 farmers’ markets. While Randy is the business manager and head grower, Victoria is responsible for marketing, and overseeing the CSA program, markets, and store.
