In today’s episode, I let you peek in on an interview I have with one of my “ideal” CSA customers, Cory Wolin. I try to understand what drives him to be so loyal to my CSA. You’ll get a good idea of the kinds of interests, values, and language a typical “CSA” member has. This can be vital when it’s time to market and find new customers. Interestingly, Cory works at the Toledo Museum of Art in their “Membership Department,” and it turns out we have a lot in common when it comes to “managing memberships” and cultivating loyalty.
Cory and I unpack the meaning of community and belonging, and why managing this in a membership is so vital for success. We share lots of examples of membership perks, and activities that are designed to create a spirit of connection and community.

Meet My Guest: Cory Wolin
Cory Wolin recently moved to Toledo, OH from Buffalo, NY back in January of 2020, mere months before the pandemic. He joined the Toledo Museum of Art after serving at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery as an Assistant Restaurant and Catering Manager (2015 – 2019). A specialist in hospitality, his passion for art, culture, community, travel and philanthropy has fueled his career in not-for-profit organizations. As of March 2021, Cory is the Stewardship and Event Coordinator in the Development Office. Throughout his tenure at museums, Cory has collaborated on various programming and community engagement initiatives and has a wide and varied background cultivating experiences
