167 Key Marketing Metrics to Measure For Your Farm Business

167 Key Marketing Metrics to Measure For Your Farm Business

July 6, 2022 by Corinna

Are you tracking your sales metrics?…

Because here’s a fact: You can’t manage what you aren’t measuring.

And for the first 9 years of my business, I’m embarrassed to admit that I didn’t track ANY of these numbers. I was just “doing farm stuff” and asking people to buy every week, hoping the numbers would work out.

I wonder sometimes if this is one of the reasons we were treading water all those years.

In today’s episode, I talk about the importance of knowing your sales and marketing data, so you can be strategic and get your business to actually scale. What information should you be tracking? What stats matter the most when it comes to building strategy for your business?

You’ve got to know the numbers on your dashboard, or you’ll be flying your business blind.

In this episode, I share details about the metrics we track in our retail farm business when it comes to sales and marketing. AoV, frequency, number of new customers/orders… these are just a few of the key levers that can significantly increase your revenue if you pull them.

But you won’t know how to pull them if you aren’t measuring them!

If you’re a new farm business owner, this will be a very helpful episode to help you know what metrics to collect each week, and what kinds of behavior or strategy you can use to change the numbers.

I wish someone had told me this stuff earlier in my business.
