Ep 37: How to Research Your Best Customers Using Telephone Interviews

Have you ever called your customers on the phone?
Not to tell them where to pick up their CSA box or where to send their payment…
Have you ever called them to try and UNDERSTAND them?…
I know. You’re thinking: “Who has time for that?” or “Why would I take my precious time to do that?”
My friend…. I get it. I felt that way once. The introvert in me (who hates talking on the phone) was freaking out. What would we talk about?!!
But then I forced myself to do it (because my coach made me!)
And it was the BEST thing I ever did for our CSA.
How did I do it? What did I do exactly?… I came prepared with some “great” questions, and I chose the right people to talk to.
In the process, I learned exactly who my ideal customer was inside and out. I also learned what they wanted and why they loved me. I learned why they were succeeding with my product (so I could create a roadmap to help future CSA members).
It was the best 20 hours I ever spent on my business!!
