Ep 147 The 5 Stages of Customer Awareness
February 16, 2022 by Corinna
Eugene Schwartz, author of the copywriting Bible “Breakthrough Advertising,” was the first to identify the 5 stages of Customer Awareness in marketing. The principle is simple: you need to know where a customer is in the spectrum of awareness, and then craft different messages to them, based on where they are.
The five stages are:
- Unaware
- Problem Aware
- Solution Aware
- Product Aware
- Most Aware
In this episode, I break down details of each of the 5 stages, and I give examples for what type of marketing content works best in each of these stages in your ag business.
Every marketer should be exposed to this concept, which is why I dedicated an entire episode to it in my podcast archives!
